@ascentale @bikenite Haven’t been able to be on the bike for over a week. But I managed to get the oil changed on the #prioritybikes600 #pinion gearbox today trying to address some issues. #bikenite

Had to have some work done on the #prioritybikes600 . Thanks to Downtown Bicycles (https://www.downtownbicyclesllc.com/) for 1 day turnaround. Went out on the backroads for a test ride that went for 25 miles down some new roads for me. Saw the first signs of fall and a testiment to the work of generations of farmers around here. Wildfire smoke made for a stunning sunset later in the evening here in #MNastodon #BikeTooter

@ai6yr @ascentale @InkySchwartz #bikenite Wow, that's a really loaded question. I'd love to see this a a main #bikenitepq . When I had a 3x8 I usually ran in the top front chain and used the back gears as appropriate. Issue I always had was to remember to "gear down early and often" when approaching a hill. Now that I have the #prioritybikes600 with a Pinon gear, I just crank it to the gear I want and never have to worry about cross-chaining etc. Maybe this is a good reason for e-shift?

@stefanhartwig #cycling #prioritybikes600 I am really enjoying the #pinon . I've made a couple #biketoot about it. The low end is very low compared to my other bike. The shift-from-any-gear-to-any-gear instantly, stopped or moving is a feature for me. You can't be tentative when you do shift, but it was easy for me to get used to.

Options discussion aside, I'm really glad I bought it. If there's anyone else with one I'd like to get a discussion going on issues and fixes and such about these bikes. I'm not on IG or FB etc. so YouTube has been my resource so far and as in all things Google I try to not be rummaging around chasing links down the rabbit hole.

I'm enjoying the marvelous privilege cruising down a beautiful trail and the buzz of the rear hub is something of a downer.

I like bikes that show interesting ideas. @Brownian_motion recently posted about the #PriorityBikes600, and reading about it intrigued me greatly. In terms of reflecting interesting ideas, it hit the same spot as the #MoultonBike I once had.

This is a climbing machine. And, towed the #biketrailer to/from the park for total of 90 miles.

@failedLyndonLaRouchite @jeremy_ai @Brownian_motion I think you're correct. One of the things I believe is "understood" about the belt drive. I've read comments front owners who note they're not as fast on the belt drive as their other bikes. BUT, I haven't found a comment from someone who returned the bike. #bikenite #prioritybikes #prioritybikes600
