Success - I reconfigured one of the SDI outputs and now everything is working well. Definitely going to send an email out with notes on what I changed since I’m not on this week. Hopefully it brings more stability to the feed.

Story for my #geek friends:

Need to live demonstrate a mobile app at staff meeting. I try to *always* keep *all* content through #ProPresenter to avoid switching screens/inputs/computers.

Initially stymied because #AirPlay to Mac *only* does full screen. Ultimately remembered #QuickTime app can capture a USB-attached iPhone as a window instead of full screen. Once that was set up, #NDI Capture saw that window which I was able to overlay on a motion loop background in ProPresenter. Booyah!

Fact is, I need to update #ProPresenter, and the newer versions require at least 10.15. Since I'm not even sure you can get 10.15 any longer (not that I would), I am, of course, upgrading all the way.

I’ve been playing around with #Floodlight Presenter this morning. It’s a fabulous #ProPresenter alternative for #Linux that’s available as a #Flatpak

The UI is pretty intuitive and I quickly got used to how slides and lyrics need setting up. It’s perfect for conference venues and houses of worship.

The only thing it did struggle with was video playback at 4K but at 1080p it was absolutely fine
