Sketch one shows the trio fully illuminated, sketch two shows some shadows being cast by the crater walls and central peaks. Sketch three shows the trio mostly in shadow with just the edges and the top of one central peak catching the sunlight. Sketch four shows the are in full shadow apart from the left hand edges just catching sunlight
