My hobby: pnpm patching #RadixUI components to export the internals I wanna mess with.
(I’d submit a feature request but I’m sure they’ll have bigger fish to fry once they get around to maintaining the project again…)
#RadixUI and friends call the buttons that control popovers, menus, etc Triggers. Very evocative of guns and traps, I think.
I’d always called them Invokers for some reason (maybe because ‘opener’ is ambiguous with ‘introduction’, and ‘controller’ is overloaded by the various MVC dogmata). ‘Invoker’ feels more magical, in a chaotic-neutral kind of way…
Today's tech share is switching gears and going a little deeper. When I use React, particularly when developing components... why start from scratch? I use Radix react primitives to give me a headstart on functionality and usability.

Hey #web #developers. I'm going to #switch to a new #css #library (from #materialui and #bootstrap). What do you #recommend? #radixui or #tailwindcss or #bulma or something else?
The best way to find new #development #technology is to see how other #developers are doing it. I just found #swiperjs and #radixui
