At Passo Giau there is a small pond, actually just a wet spot in the meadow, in which the peaks of Ra Gusela and Tofana di Rozes are reflected when the weather is calm. When I arrived at this little pond, a workshop with eight photographers was already set up there. Fortunately, a seemingly unattractive spot was still free and I was able to set up my tripod. I don't know why the spot was left free, because I thought it was ideal. As the mountains slowly emerged from the clouds, the workshop leader posed for his participants in front of the mountains. I generally prefer landscape photos without people, but here I actually like the counterpoint quite well. I also have almost the same version of the photos without the workshop leader, but with a bit more Tofana...
