Das Bild zeigt zwei hölzerne Segelboote, die in einem ruhigen Hafenbecken liegen. Ein kleineres Boot liegt vor einem größeren. Die Boote spiegeln sich klar im Wasser, das die grünen Kronen der Bäume an den Ufern zeigt, sowie den hellen Himmel. Der Spiegelungseffekt erzeugt eine fast symmetrische Komposition. Das Bild strahlt Ruhe und Stille aus.

For #windowfriday I chose to dig out something from the archive, shot with my beloved Fuji X10 travel camera.

This is a detail from the "Temppeliaukio" / Rock Church in #Helsinki, featuring two major topics in Finnish design/architecture: Light (because it exists in extremes in the far north) and metal, in this case copper.
