A recreation of Tomb Raider 2 on Saturn, new firmware for Retro-Bit controllers and a line of model kits recreating robots from Saturn shooter Wolf Fang — they're a few of the headlines that popped up in the community last week. Take a look:

Retro-Bit have just released a firmware update for their “v2” line of wireless 2.4GHz controllers that enables USB controller support via X-Input. That will allow you to use them on MiSTer, PC, Mac, Switch, RPi and basically all other devices that accept a standard USB controller. #gaming #games #retrogaming #retro #retrobit #firmware #update

#MajorasMask running natively with 60 FPS on #Linux #PC , no emulation, with an improved #N64-like controller by #Retrobit. What a time to be alive. :awesome: 🥹
I'm getting fairly annoyed with #retrobit
Not only their analog Saturn controller is still a mystery (some may have been able to purchase, it is not on amazon and you barely see a single one in Ebay, but the officially licensed Saturn replica controllers have been out of stock for some time, and the price for used ones keeps going up. I wanted to have an spare replica.
I know that there is an #8bitdo alternative, but it's not 1:1 replica and it reminds me more of the Megadrive gamepad.
Well the #Retrobit gamepad finally arrived today. Already I am loving how it sits in my hand. I do wish it was a little thicker but overall it feels great. Here is a size comparison to my other gamepads. PS4 and #Logitech F720 . #linuxgaming
Retro-bit published updated firmware for its new Saturn Pro Controller over the weekend — while the shoulder buttons work correctly in Nights into Dreams, the new Virtual On Mode needs more work. Get the details in our story:

Retrobit Saturn Pro wireless controller (a dual Saturn and USB wireless controller with dual analog sticks and four shoulder buttons): there's reports of massive issues with compatibility with Saturn games in analog mode. Unfortunately, I am unable to verify because the button combo in the manual to put the controller into analog mode (Start+B) does not work at all. :ac_sighing:
Maybe hold off on buying one until after a firmware update hopefully fixes these issues making it pretty unusable for one of its selling points. :ac_mistaken:
Shame, had nothing but good experiences with Retrobit Sega reproduction controllers in the past as a cheaper way to get fresh controllers for old systems. (And the promise of an analog pad for the Saturn that isn't the... awkward... official one was promising. Or the Retro Fighters one that tries to glue it together with Genesis support and has an awkward split cable and then died on me instantly.)

El último invento de Retro Bit
I really like the form factor of that prototype Retro-Bit #SegaSaturn analog controller but I really hope it has Hall Effect sensors in the analog controllers.
I'm also not enthusiastic about any controller with a built-in rechargeable battery because that's a built-in life expectancy.
Oohwee, very nice work #RetroBit. This is a premium feeling package. #RetroGaming
