Coding at the #GSoC #GSoC2024 has started, including our 11 (!) contributors for #OpenPrinting

One of them is Rudra Pratap Singh and his project is #OCI-containerization of #CUPS and Printer Applications (printer drivers), to allow easy installation of these on most #immutable distros and also in server/cloud environments. To create the containers he uses #rockcraft.

After a few months of maintaining my crafts-flake project, I just landed the final PR upstream in #nixpkgs which means that #rockcraft, #charmcraft and #snapcraft willl soon be readily available to all #NixOS users 😎 🚀

Note that right now if you're using #LXD 5.18 on NixOS, these will fail due to a regression in LXD. 5.19 is on it's way to nixos-unstable.
