My whippet Castorp has a friend and running mate, Sata, a #Saluki.

We went for tea to Sata's place. Salukis are gentle but aloof, aristocratic desert hunters that bond only with the gov'nor. But today when I sat down, Sata came over and sat down next to me, and she graciously let me scratch her head. A magic moment.

Later she curled up on the sofa by the fire. Half asleep, dreaming with her eyes open, her body twitching nervously as she chased a gazelle.

Spent a lovely night with Addis & some new friends last evening here in Dundee.

He wasn’t up for a photo but he was life of the pub.

I sat with some Green Tea & he loved his carrots & treats & all the social attention. Not all dogs love the kind of spaces but his #Lurcher / #saluki mix, I think makes him mostly un afraid of humans (who are in good moods.)

That said he’s very tired today but a nice change from being restless the two days before.
