Dynamic spatial coding in parietal cortex mediates tactile-motor transformation
Participants pointed to tactile stimuli on their uncrossed and crossed feet. We dissociated sensory and motor coding with an anti-task.
Parietal regions carried both anatomical (which foot) and spatial (where in space) info about the stimulus. Later in the trial same regions coded task and motor goal info.
