In Person At El Matador by Sergio Mendes and Brasil '65, released on Atlantic in 1965.
"...this "Brasil '65" album is a live one by Sergio Mendes, recorded with Wanda De Sah and Rosinha De Valenca, in the years before he formed the "Brasil '66" group that recorded on A&M -- but issued afterward by Atlantic, and given the "Brasil '65" tag in hopes of cashing in on the A&M records' popularity. Forget about all of that stuff, though, because the record's a nice batch of bossa jazz tracks -- and it features some instrumentals with Sergio and a tight group, plus a few vocal tracks by the ladies. The set's got a nice groove, and is much more like Sergio's earlier bossa stuff that was on Capitol in the US, and Philips in Brazil. Tracks include "Tem Do De Mim", "Noa Noa", "Caminho De Casa", and "Arrastao" - Dusty Groove
