Weird glitch on the BART trip planner. Try a midday weekday trip from Colma BART to San Mateo Caltrain. Perfectly normal BART to Millbrae, Caltrain to San Mateo.

Now try Colma BART to Hillsdale Caltrain. ECR? BART to 24th/Mission then Muni 48?

Huh?

Workaround is plan BART to Millbrae and Caltrain from Millbrae south as two separate trips.

Cutoff seems to be Burlingame & San Mateo good, Hayward Park & south bad.

I've reported it to BART.

The thing I thought we learned at the start of the COVID pandemic was that exponential growth looks very very slow to begin with before it suddenly gets very very fast…

The lines for 2022, 2023, and 2024 clim very slowly and do not exceed about 300; the line for 2025 climbs much more quickly, and reaches over 2000; the line for 2026 is already considerably higher than any of the other lines (and that’s just to January 13th).

Daytime interior photo of a white, 3 ounce, ceramic espresso (demitasse) cup with a shot of espresso, on a gray diatomaceous-earth coaster on an off-white desk mat on a maple desk surface. The blue text on the cup reads "Cyber-Physical Systems Research Center" and wraps in a circle around the logo, which looks like a loosely interlaced, rounded triquetra with thick knots in solid red, yellow, and blue (each its own color).

Coyote spotted swimming from San Francisco to Alcatraz Island

I seem to recall a report of some swimming to Angel Island a year ago?
