Been a long while since we made bread. Larry, our sourdough starter has been making crackers these past few years, finally stretching their legs again to make a round salted rosemary loaf. The outside was beautiful, but the inside needed just a bit longer at the lower temp for perfection. The smell!! I wish I could share the smell!

Good point. There would have to be a Smell-O-Vision settings menu in the TV where you can disable individual scents. One might also set intensity (i.e. smell volume) and create profiles for user, time of day, weather, etc.

Less popular scents could be limited to the deluxe subscriptions or not included.

Just as audiophiles invest in high-end sound systems to hear every nuance, olfactophiles might pay more to savour every whiff.

OK, all earlier attempts to implement Smell-O-Vision have been in movie theatres. With current technology it should be easy to implement in the home setting now.

1) Cartridges sent via subscription
2) Subscription can be in tiers, e.g. 14 scents for basic, 49 for deluxe
3) Positioned near chair, activated by TV via bluetooth
4) The room will require good ventilation, so upgraded HVAC in home theater, or open the windows
5) Also a need for safety regs and ISO standards
