Today feels like a Saturday for some reason. My community college was closed Wednesday and Thursday from a snowstorm, so I had the challenge of lesson-planning for my classes virtually. Not fun. I spent pretty much the whole day yesterday working on one class. I have taught that one before as a Dual Enrollment course, which is a little different.
Today I work on grading for my Dual Enrollment course.

Classes start next week, so today is all about semester planning: course prep, project planning, and some attempts at realistic goal setting. Hoping to manifest a calmer #SpringSemester by starting off a touch more organized and intentional, even if I'm still behind on all fronts!

Also trying to squeeze out some time to continue playing with #Obsidian for notes (loving it so far) and #Quarto for a personal website I hope to get up asap!

I’m deep down the course planning hole and keep wildly vacillating between “how can I cover all the content I want to in so little time?!?” and “how can I possibly generate enough content for three lectures a week?!?”

My #maternityleave is coming to an end soon, which means it’s time to start prep for my #SpringSemester courses. Since we changed #learningmanagementsystems, I suppose I should probably learn how to use the new one.
I swear with these changes that someday I’ll go back to actual slide projectors and chalkboards.
