I would like to hear how tenuous the wealth of these billionaires actually are. For a good deal of them it's made out of perceived value, leveraged debt and the complexity of paper.

Ah the myth that the Conservative party has only recently governed for 13 years from Thatcher onwards. Which misses out the 51-63 Conservative govts which apart from the important interregnum of Atlee had continuity with the Baldwin/Chamberlain prewar administrations.

Great author event to #StartTheWeek - B.P. Walter at our local Waterstones. Such a modest person in his answers in the Q&A. Came home with the #TBR two books longer! 📚
OK, we're back into the working week and I might need to ask you to calm yourselves - because it involved dropping another lath & plaster ceiling 🤣 Dusty. Dropping the ceiling took minutes, then the rest of the day was ferrying waste into trailers and cleaning. Supremely dull yet also satisfying. My reward was a warm fire and a bowl of my delicious homemade butternut soup. Pretty good start to the week. Off to cuddle the pup. #Demolition #StartTheWeek #ButternutSoup #WomenInConstruction
