A part time priestess (and probably a full time school student) walks the steps up to the main shrine.A Japanese lady walks down the middle of a quiet street, wearing a traditional komono and using a patterned umbrella to protect herself from the sun and heat.An amazingly bearded old man, perhaps a sage, walking down the stairs of a temple complex. He was an amazing sight, even after seeing other people dressed in traditional garb. He smiled and had a twinkle in his eye as he passed us.
