I was very skeptical about signing any letter since I am very disgusted about almost everything happened in the last week, but after discovering this other craziness:

I decided to sign in favor of #RMS and be marked forever with sign of the shame.
Violence, hate, persecution, retaliation, threatening, vengeance and unforgiving those are the values of the entities behind this violent attack!
This is also the reason why I dislike the involvement of these entities in the free software space.

También hay quien se ha retractado de sus acusaciones a Stallman: daringfireball.net/2019/10/cor… Por tanto no es verdad que Stallman fuera un acosador sexual en el trabajo. La historia al parecer realmente correspondía a un tal Eric S. Raymond.
Leah Rowe (el fundador de Libreboot) dice que está harto de esta caza de brujas en contra de Stallman y que no lo extrañaría que esto haya sido promovido por mercenarios de Microsoft o el gobierno de EEUU “o algo así”: lists.gnu.org/archive/html/lib…
Así que ya vemos un caso más en el que se han usado mentiras y exageraciones para arruinar la vida otro un inocente. Stallman se sintió presionado por grupos de presión externos hasta el punto que dimitió como presidente de la Free Software Foundation (aún sigue al frente del Proyecto GNU). Ahora me pregunto si podrá volver a estar al frente del revolucionario movimiento que el mismo fundó.
