Started playing The Crimson Diamond by Julia Minamata! I was drawn to the game by the beautiful artwork, but I've also been wanting to try a text parser game. The only similar games I've played are the first three Monkey Islands, and so far I would definitely recommend it to fans of that series! Tbh, I've been a. Little in love with text parsers since finding out about them and that they allow you to 'easily' simulate a world with all kinds of custom rules.

Too bad I hate the 'go South' 'go N' and keeping track directions like that. But I think I'd like ones that make traversal easy. 🤔 I know some games have maps. I'm hoping to skip dirs and use go to for everything if I make one. XD

But I've been curious about good ways to implement combat 🤔
