Die dabei jährlich genutzten 31.000 MWh decken rechnerisch den #Wärmebedarf von über 5.500 Haushalten in #Essen, #Bottrop und #Gelsenkirchen. Möglich wurde das durch #Wärmetauscher an den #Elektrolyseöfen und technische Anpassungen im Werk.

Every time #TriMet asks me for feedback I tell them to give us 1) restrooms and 2) limited express (in Japan they’re called 特急 = “tokkyu”) trains to the airport.

I don’t care if there’s a nominal fee for the restrooms (in Italy often 1.50 EUR, in Mexico often 10 MXN). The express train fee can be as high as $20 (vs. Malpensa Express, Narita Express, etc.) which I’m certain will help with ridership/budget issues. If they have to cut services anyway, why not make limited express trains??

Looks like #Trimet realized the Banfield Mainline is constantly delayed by interline hell and working to fix that by truncating the Green Line to Gateway.

Seems more logical to eliminate the green line entirely and reroute the Red Line to run PDX to Clackamas, then increase service on the Blue Line so it's only 15 minutes or less between trains on the outer stations instead of 2-3 times an hour at most.

#Trimet is really pulling out the stops with another wave of cutbacks- perhaps they think people will continue to ride no matter what. They never got a big chunk of their COVID ridership back. Seriously if I were able bodied, I'd get a bicycle and never look back. The next wave removes some lines from BTC so access will require one of their typically dysfunctional elevators or a big go around to access another bus line that goes out there. Boy I'm glad I didn't move to the Commons there tbc
