@bruce Ha! Yep.
A week ago it took me maybe an hour to find where it was buried deep in the Broadcom site. I chose to hold my nose & create a burner account, just for the privilege of d/l it. When i decided later to then install it, onto the SSD of my 2011 Dell lappy with i5 cpu & 8 GB RAM currently running LMDE, after several hours that odd bash script "installer" still had not finished, but most of that time the cpu was running 90% - 100%, the casing was very hot, fan racing continuously, & Mem & Swap maxed out. I was disgusted, killed it, rebooted [after letting lappy cool down], logged in, & immediately deleted that installer file. What on earth is Broadcom's intention here?
