@torrentfreak all this left me wondering a lot. A lot of things seem to have changed in that regard in the last decade. Like #flattr closed, too. #Jamendo seems to shift more and more away from its original #CreativeCommons / community focus. #VODO closed already a while ago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VODO). All these things which proposed innovative, new and promising alternatives to the classic #copyright approach.

Instead things have shifted to content #streaming silos owned by a few.
