If you were going enterprise, you'd already have a shitton of licenses for #ESXi on a #VxRail but then again I've also seen #Proxmox in enterprise...

If you don't have absurdly cheap electricity and a high tolerance for noise, consider getting some #surplus #MiniDesktops or #ThinClients... They are much cheaper and quieter...

Wenn man sich den ganzen Tag mit #Dell #VxRail troubleshooting beim #discovery Prozess und #deployment beschäftigen durfte und sich am Abend dann fragt: „Warum muss ein so gutes Produkt manchmal nur so zickig sein?!?“

Wo liegt der Vorteil einer Updatelösung wie bei #VxRail von #DellEMC, wenn ich bei _jedem_ Update nicht ohne den Dell Service weiterkomme?

In der Zeit bis die Fehler gefunden und behoben sind und das Update dann endlich durchläuft könnte ich auch das komplette Cluster neu aufsetzen.
