So sometimes this monkey is not a very smart man. I figured out why I couldn't configure a setting through the #Qwant search engine. It was all courtesy of this glorious thing called a VPN. #Windscribe in this case. After fiddling around with some settings & getting Qwant to show me the security setting page, I am able to use the search engine with that pesky setting enabled. I don't always understand technology. Anyway, thanks for those who responded and I want to thank you for your time.

Have been having intermittent internet connectivity all day. I tried power cycling the modem, rebooting the laptop, shifting to different VPN servers, just to try and troubleshoot this weirdness. Turns out the Wireguard setting through #Windscribe was the culprit. Shifted to the UDP connection and it's been smooth sailing. I'm guessing their Wireguard configuration is having some general issues or with #Xfinity. Who knows. It's stable again, and that's what matters.
