'The Cree, the Indigenous people who live in the Hudson Bay Lowlands, consider the Ring of Fire region, and the larger geographical region in which it exists as 'home'. They are stewards for the region's remaining biodiversity. Their spiritual, economic, social and cultural way of life is grounded in this region of the world. They practice animism, a contrasting worldview to that held by many of those people in the country's southern cities (and the mining companies), and have the expertise to adapt, mitigate, reduce climate and disaster risks as they have done for millennia. They call these peatlands ‘Yehewin Aski’, or “the Breathing Lands,” as they are the lungs of Mother Earth.'

John Newton wrote, “Amazing Grace” and here condemns the slave trade. He compares kindnapping a person from a street in London vs. a trail in Africa. The slave trade creates a market for this oppression and robbery.
Are there incentives for oppression and robbery today? I had a Reformed pastor in a bible study tell me that Christians should not be talking about “oppression”.
How can you help oppression and robbery to fail?
Apart from political discussions for and against "AI"--which often miss the point--we're talking of: What kind of worldview, and view of the human being, are we presenting to each other including pupils at schools--are we saying: humans are beyond the machine; dialogues and relationships are more than just 'an interface'; and the world isn't an algorithm? Lo and behold, I think we are seeing more worldview discussion than ever.

Australia's semantic struggles over a "one and only" reality or a pluriverse?
From the 'heart of darkness' to the “sanitised” articles of sub/urban place names.
"Some (Wikipedia) editors told us they felt it was their responsibility to include First Nations’ perspectives, even though they met with heavy resistance. One, Lucas, had repeatedly tried to include First Nations place names, often unsuccessfully. He no longer edits Wikipedia. “I just ran out of energy for it”...One or two editors “were going around removing Aboriginal place names from all the articles about Australia and Australian places”.

School A: There is only one Truth, and I know what it is.
School B: There are an infinite number of Truths, and they are all valid. (Or, to put it another way, there are zero truths, and everything is Just An Opinion.)
