What a weekend at Western States 100!! My 2 oldest and I volunteered at the finish line starting with set up Friday and Saturday and came back Sunday to help some more. On Saturday we stayed and watched Courtney Dauwalter absolutely crush the woman’s record and finish 6th overall. Sunday was one of the most exciting and heartbreaking golden hours I’ve been at. #wser #wser100 #ultrarunning #trailrunning

What the actual fuck. Got grab dinner, come back and Dauwalter is in the top 10 and 37 minutes UNDER course record.

I volunteered at the Western States training run today. It is so fun to give back. Last year so many people gave up their time to help me train for and run WS. I’ll be volunteering at the finish line in 4 weeks. It is the home stretch for all the runners lucky enough to be running this year!
