There's a big part of my residence permit that is really granted on how productive I am, not how cherished I am in my community, my social roots in a local ecosystem, or dare I say... that I simply exist... What if I get sick and cannot give anymore? Will I be taken care of? What can we really ask of a society built on productivity at all costs instead of care ?
