Sterculia lanceolata

When I found out the name of this beauty, "Sterculia", I thought it sounded a bit funny. 😁 Had a look on Wikipedia and there was the explanation:

"The scientific name is taken from Sterculius of Roman mythology, who was the god of manure; this is in reference to the unpleasant aroma of the flowers of this genus"

So yea, pretty, but we probably wouldn't have them in our house 😁

I like this one.

The green of the trees, the orange of the railings, these bridges also being green and orange, the students down there, the train on that bridge further back and the compression of the zoom lens bringing all of this together.
