"#Trump is selling the White House at a rate of roughly $1 billion a month (!) - the biggest scandal in US history, 10X worse than Watergate
This needs a name: #Cryptogate
This needs a complete guide, which I've written
This needs us to demand action"

I am thus reminded of this classic: https://www.catb.org/~esr/writings/unix-koans/prodigy.html
> “This code is difficult to read,” said Master Foo. “It is only thinly commented, its invariants are not specified, and I see no narrative description of its architecture or internal data structures anywhere. These problems will seriously impede your cooperation with other programmers.”
> The Prodigy drew himself up haughtily. “I do not seek the cooperation of other programmers,” he said. “Every time I thought I had found one who might match me in skill I have been disappointed. Thus, I work alone.”
> “But even the hacker who works alone,” said Master Foo, “collaborates with others, and must constantly communicate clearly to them, lest his work become confused and lost.”
> “Of what others do you speak?” the Prodigy demanded.
> Master Foo said: “All your future selves.”
> Upon hearing this, the Prodigy was enlightened.
There is no winning with narcissists like Trump. All Tim Cook bought with his million bucks was a brief placation, and it cost his and Apple’s reputations dearly.
Another short-sighted, short-term move that failed to read the room, at the expense of long-term brand value. Forget “owning primary technologies” — THAT’s the real Cook Doctrine.
Cook chose poorly, again.
Also:
- Apple prevented eleventy million attempts to choose a mobile browser engine that isn't theirs.
- Apple prevented a zillion attempts to use reader mode on websites it didn't think were suitable for it.
- Apple prevented a squillion developers from getting a better cut of their app sales.
- Apple prevented basically everyone from putting their own music straight onto the stock music app.
- Apple told everybody what software to run on the device they literally own.

@mattgemmell oh the profile looked a little different. I wasn’t sure if it was GMK or DCS. Which reminds me it’s time to swap out my keyboard, I think. I really need better board and keycap storage solutions.
@mattgemmell Paperwork is such a lovely set. I have DCS Paperwork, for my >40% boards https://www.keebtalk.com/t/what-did-you-get-in-the-mail-today-part-1/1572/7804

Edit 1: Google image search shows this meme showed up on Facebook 5 years ago, so no AI.
Edit 2: Well, I stand corrected. It shows up in 5 year old threads, the actual image indeed seem to be AI contrary to what I thought. Should that matter in this context? I personally don't think so but hey, you do you.
Thanks for all the interaction. Have a nice day.

A super simple, but cool #SVG #filter trick.
We create the gradient text.
The filter creates a blurred copy of it and places it underneath.
We then animate the #CSS #gradient stops... magic! 🪄✨

There's a long way to go, and I'd love any feedback I can get from the community here, as it's my first time getting this far in a #gamedev project~
Hello all~
My first beloved fedihome, peoplemaking.games, is likely winding down in the near future. Out of the options available sunny.garden looked to match my pace (truth is, I am very rarely a person making games, despite my wishes to be).
I think I've managed to bring over all my follows, so hello again <3
As for an intro for new fedi neighbors on sunny.garden: I'm mvu, a 30-something canadian webdev in the public sector, aspiring artist-of-some-sort, one-day solo game developer, dabbling beginner musician, and lover of esoteric things and those who make them.
I look forward to sharing this new corner of the fediverse with you all ~
