@jedda Be safe. I didn’t realise how bad was in LA.

It was only a matter of time before I went back to Todoist. My new job role and life focuses has increased the amount I have to output each day.

I’m using the Time Sector System by Carl Pullein.

@gsymon When the subscription ends, I’m going to do a full wipe of my MacBook.

@jarunmb @jedda Amazing. That’s good to know. I will look at e-ink tablets later in the year.

@markhysted Of course! Thanks for reminding me. 😃

@lee I know what you mean. Other than Minecraft (Java Edition), I mostly use Apple Arcade games. I’m running a MacBook Air M1 at the moment, which I really like.

@Doony I already have a MacBook Air M1 and my son shares the iPad Air 3 with me. We want a computer in the office to share. The monitor is also helpful because I can hook up my work laptop when I need it.

The family computer needs replacing. I thought I would move away from Apple. However, my wife and son would like to stay within the Apple ecosystem. Here's what I have come up with so far.

Obviously, the prices and hardware could change by the time I make the purchase.

@jedda @jarunmb I've been looking at the Supernote A6 X2 Nomad. I will wait until 2026 to see if these e-ink devices progress any further before making the purchase.

@jarunmb Thank you. It works perfectly for what I need. The work list could do with a refresh but that is out of my hands.

@jedda Thank you. 😁

@jedda Your folio - amazing. Seriously, good luck with the running. I wasn’t watching Squid Games but I forgot midnight had been and gone.

I'm writing a blog post that is more like a long list of all the software I use across all aspects of my life. It is worrying long. However, I have seen longer lists out there.

I hadn't realised how much dependency there was on Microsoft and Apple products.

Here’s my current iPhone Lock Screen and Home Screen configuration. There’s plenty of white and black theming across my apps.

I'm starting to use markdown and plain text files more these days. I use VSCodium because I can make notes, draft blogs, and create HTML/CSS/Python files.

Also, 2025 could be an expensive one for me. 😂

@jedda Deleting photos is still one of my main struggles with digital minimalism. I like the idea of you resetting your phone each year.

Build habits by planning them first.

Happy New Year! I hope everyone is doing well.

May 2025 bring you much success and growth.

@cliff538 @amerpie @dhester Thank you. That means a lot. I wanted something simple to use. Scribbles does that. I'm not bothered with having loads of features I would never use. I made that mistake when I was with WordPress.
