The golden pendant represents two bees, symmetrically joined so their heads and abdomens meet. They are depositing a drop of honey in their cage-style honeycomb over their heads, while their legs are holding a granulated disc which forms the center of the pendant. Two discs are dangling from the wings of the bees, and a third one from where their abdomen meet. The eyes of the bees, and their abdominal body lines are emphasized with gold granules. The pendant dates to ca. 1800 BC - 1650 BC and was found in the necropolis of Malia, on the island of Crete.

Brown argus butterfly sitting on flowers collecting nectar. The wings are fold and you can see the underside with the black dots and the orange sprinkles along the edge. The butterfly has a fluffy white fur and long black and white striped antennas.
