I have gone out for a
#movie today " Uppena". And this is how lost I look trying to fathom what's happening to this world.
It had some nice
#screenplay and music🎶🎶 . That
#andhra accent and lives of fishermen living on the shores were nicely captured.
The cast is like super cute. But little did I know heroin was 17year old who happens to act out some adult rated scenes. 😅. What a crap!
***********Now spoilers 🚨🚨🚨alert*************
Looking at some teenagers falling in love is something but looking at some kids falling in love is altogether mind blasting 🤯. I don't know if this will normalise paedophiles ???
I did enjoy the
#journey of the two lovers nurturing a
#relationship and going through all the tough times.
I should tell you they did try to show it was intimate and strong relationship altogether. But this did reminder of the most common tv troop where the heroin finds the perfect person (sorry see a person who is a potential person) who can pull her out of that one misery she wants to get rid of from her life ( and eventually because of that very thing which he is capable of, she terms it love).
The story revolving around a
#castist father and a daughter who love a lower cast son . Both the
#love birds go away finally to find each other out of all odds, is yet another TV troop we have very much scene in many movies. Here the love our hero and his father share is beautifully captured across. And I was in love his father's character for being a good leader for his community.
The most powerful dialogues are told buy our "damsel in distress" Heroin at the end which eventually changes the stone hearted father of hers. How dramatic🎭..
Anyway.. Now I am stuck thinking about many other
#patriarchy #normalising , women degrading, machoistic, unrealistic romanticism etc dialogues. Maybe I need a break from the agony of seeing such movies becoming blockbusters.
#Popular is not = good and nice.
