It’s a google screenshot showing the results for the search “all you can eat buffet near me.” The result is an AI overview advising that the user type “all you can eat buffet near me” into a search engine

We are ending the era of Russian fossil fuels in Europe for good!

We have proposed a gradual phase-out of Russian gas and oil imports, to be completed by the end of 2027.

This will cut energy and economic risks tied to Russian supply, while ensuring stable and secure energy for all EU countries.

Our proposal protects markets, limits price impacts, and strengthens the EU’s energy independence.

Let's turn off the tap on Russian fossil fuels in Europe for good.

An image shows two sets of pipes, one red and one blue, with a message that reads: "Our reliance on Russian energy ends here." On the bottom right, blue pipes are connected and also move downwards. The European Commission logo is visible in the top right corner.

There's some coverage from public/state owned media here: abc.net.au/news/2025-06-15/don

But saying 'tens of thousands' attended seems to downplay it to the point of misrepresentation, based on the photos here on Mastodon.

According to the Ukrainian security services, AI-powered autonomous systems allowed drones to continue along a pre-planned route even after losing signal. Upon approaching and contacting a designated target, the warhead was automatically triggered. This indicates that autonomous AI capability in detection, engagement, and triggering destruction IS ALREADY HERE. But this is only the beginning of autonomous capability. This raises urgent questions about international humanitarian law compliance

President Trump’s so-called “big beautiful bill,” includes a 3.5% tax on remittances by non-citizens. New analysis by The Continent shows this could raise transaction costs to over 9% in at least eight African countries, especially for small transfers. continent.substack.com/p/trump

The Israel-US plan to kill all the men in Gaza is pretty obvious.

Whether they know it or not, Boston Consulting Group set GHF up as bait for men specifically.

Gaza is blockaded for decades, then completely cut off to put people into famine, meaning the men are the only people strong enough to carry heavy things great distances. GHF comes in with 20kg boxes of aid.

A mother with multiple kids (if they're still alive after Israel has been targeting kids) will not be able to get food, but a teenage boy, or a man, will.

For the past few weeks I've been calling them "kill zones", because from what I've seen, the Israeli troops have created a traditional "kill zone" in the area leading up to the GHF distribution point.

As Gaza’s Government Media Office calls it: “human slaughterhouses”

So here is one of the effects of the #climatecatastrophe that people don't associate with #climate collapse.

It's not just floods, fires and heatwaves.

Here in South #Australia we had algea bloom for the last 10 weeks. It's is a result of a marine heat wave where the temperature of water is 2.5 degrees higher. We had them before, but this one is the longest ever.

Marine life is being washed dead on the shore, sharks are attacking people because their food webs are dying, jellyfish sting people in areas where they were not a problem.
When you go to the beach you will have difficulty breathing and have an allergic reaction. Some people living on the coastline are experiencing respiratory symptoms constantly.

The rich usually think they can survive the climate collapse because air-conditioning and food deliveries (actually I have no idea what's going on in their heads).

But this is one of the many, many, many #catastrophies we have no name for yet.

So you can now add "Algea Bloom" to "Fire Tornadoes" and "Rain Bombs".

Welcome to the end of #anthropocene .

Have a lovely Sunday and be excellent to each other.

P.S. The Government is trying to keep this very low key as we are trying to get tourists here. But here is the official page: pir.sa.gov.au/research/researc
