@thecommongreen One day I'm going to stop posting this video whenever CCS is mentioned. Today, however, is not that day.
Want to read the best comment on the collapse in credibility & absence (or waywardness) of strategic leadership in universities in #Wales ?
@calvjones.bsky.social has you covered (but don’t let him know, he’s a mercenary consultant now and might charge you for it):

Hot off the digital press: the fourth of six short stories by Thomas Richards.
'Anna of Llynn' tells the sad tale of two young lovers' happiness spoilt by a third jealous heart.
This story comes with a content warning about descriptions and portrayals of mental illness.

Anopther crass article from Kettle in which has calls for an effort to make the UK 'work' and managed to only gudginly Wales, Scotland and NI with no understanding of any of them A classic example of SE Londonon bubbles.
And a short piece from Bylines Cymru that could (although it predates it) be written in ripost.

Increasing long dry spells are increasingly impacting wildlife, all ecosystems, including our rich & rare Atlantic Temperate Rainforests. @waleslink

Sourcing motive power in the uplands of north Wales was critical for the success of the slate industry from the late C18th on.
Water was initially the only available motive force. The extent to which the landscape was carefully exploited to divert, collect and use water was remarkable.
Later, the slate industry would become some of the very earliest adopters of hydroelectricity.
Blue = runs and storage of water, orange = mils of two small quarries.
Loved reading 'Tir: The Story of the Welsh Landscape' by Carwyn Graves with the Doers & Improvers bookclub. A beautiful book about peoples' relationship with the land in Wales, the role of the Welsh language, the history of agriculture here, and thoughts on how we might move forward in more sustainable ways.
An excerpt from the @badvertising.bsky.social book to get you thinking today. Plenty of cities around the world have banned outdoor advertising. Why shouldn't #Cardiff #Caerdydd be the first in #Wales #Cymru to do it? Our streets don't have to be covered in billboards! #AdvertisingShitsInYourHead
