I used to think it was merely a post-COVID19 hiccough, but the extensive delays in receiving reviews for submitted manuscripts that I am seeing near constantly now are the symptoms of a much larger problem. @BioEmformatics The major drawbacks of all these cloud solutions is the egress cost (in addition to the compute and storage ones).
Our group helped on the nextflow plugin for azure (which we use), but also use AWS with nextflow.
The two systems are quite different and their proper configuration is the most time consuming.
