Unlike veggies, which can only be harvested once, you can harvest Fruits from Trees many times before they die, making their longer growth times worth the wait! But be warned: most trees will wither up in the Winter and won't bear fruit again until the Spring!
In Uprooted: Meal Replacement Game, time can be your friend and enemy, so be careful what you plant, and when you plant it!

The closer you are to an enemy, the more damage you deal, but also the more you receive, so it's important to position yourself carefully! But if you know you've got a big attack ready for the next turn and your opponent does not, it might be a good time to use Velthur's Sicklerang ability to pull your enemy closer!

If there's a Hot Potato on your field, you better get rid of it fast! Sure, you can just throw it at your enemy, hurting them a bit and maybe setting them on fire, OR you can throw it onto their field to force their hand! Every time I come back to check Mastodon it seems like half of the posts in my timeline are *about* Mastodon; how you're "supposed" to use it, what's bad for the community, comparing it to Twitter, etc.
