I recommend using fonts with something like 'Fontbase'. 
Programs like Fontbase let you switch between fonts without.,.. bogging down your operating system too much.
If you have too many fonts installed it can cause software WITH fonts to load painfully slowly or even crash (especially if a font is corrupted).
