Here's how it compares to the real thing:
Toots about retro gaming, bootleg games, movies (especially 80s and 90s neo-noir), Taiwan and everything in between

Here's how it compares to the real thing:
The other controller I bought recently is the 8bitdo M30. The white version which looks exactly like a Japanese Sega Saturn controller.
I bought this specifically for playing Sega Saturn games on MiSTer. Saturn performance is coming along so well I think it's time to jump in...
@johnglass I've not mapped the buttons yet, only just got it. I've tested the shake, I think that's the only way to wake it - I'm just happy it can wake it at all!
Just got an 8bitdo Ultimate as a belated birthday present to myself.
It feels high quality, and I love being able to wake up the Switch - the reason I've avoided third-party controllers as my main controller.
My son got his hands on this again and completely destroyed the hinge. Maybe it's time for a Phat DS Game Boy Macro?
I really love the design of the original DS. It's such a shame there isn't a screen kit for this.
My 2 year old got his hands on this one and broke the hinge. Not a huge lose as it's pretty scratched up and one of the screens is discolored
I bought a new case for the RG35XX. It's meant for Game Boy Color, but the RG35XX still fits in
Promo elevator sticker for The Super Mario Bros Movie, Taiwan ver.
The reason I haven't turned my Switch on in a while
@retronianne thanks, it's a photogenic device. I see the RG35XX quite popular from the posts you've boosted
I managed to get one of these from a seller in Taiwan, so I got it in 24 hours.
It's exactly what I was looking for and the screen is great, so bright and clear
Time to revisit all those GB, GBA, and GG games that feel weird playing on the TV
@myketunagaming I did see the Miyoo Mini, it looks a tiny bit too small for me. I did hear there's a new Miyoo coming out in the next couple of months that might be bigger, maybe I'll wait and see what that's like
I'm really considering buying an Abernic RG35xx as a portable GB/GBA emulator
Anyone got one?

Me when my wife been away for a few days
I've almost finished season 4 of The Larry Sanders Show. It's a slow start, but as the seasons progress it gets so much better.
I'll have to go back and check out It's Garry Shandling's Show after this, I hope it's as good
Went for a night skate as I'm too weak to run after a stomach bug.
It's half the calories of a run, but twice as fun
Nintendo using different standard screws only on the Pro controller grips and then Phillips screws inside seems deliberate to thwart attempts to open it. At least with tri-wing you can see they're different.
I ended up drilling them out with a 2mm bit and then glueing the grips back in with a dab of hot glue
Mario Galaxy 2 is the perfect game to play over Christmas, I still have the Wii U hooked up
Found the time to finish this today. I hate games that have "good" and "bad" endings. I just googled the location of the side quests to get the necessary upgrades, otherwise I'd never have time to finish it
@myke_tuna I really enjoyed the first, then couldn't get into the second. I gave it a second go last night and it's pretty good
