@Judeau yes! I miss the days of lower budget films getting the green light to make this stuff. And yeah one second it's Conan, then it's Empire Strikes Back, and then Masters of the Universe. An absolute gem πŸ’œ

Stop Killing Games made it to 100% required signatures.

Now, I'd like to make it perfectly clear: If you have not signed, yet or know someone who hasn't: DO IT NOW!

The more buffer the petition has, the better!

I'm super excited to finally have my Geodesic Dome project complete. It's now a cosy study space at my University Library, perfect for winter study. It's made from upcycled cardboard from TV boxes and corflute from local election signage, and held together with zipties and tarp eyelets. To make the design, I 3D modelled it in Rhino software with the Polyhedra plugin, then put the model into Pepakura papercraft software to create paper templates that were then hand cut (alas, no laser cutter!)

Large Geodesic dome made from cardboard and corflute in the library, with a small coffee table, beanbags and blankets inside. A look inside the geodesic dome, with a coffee table, bean bags and blankets. In the centre of the coffee table is a question that says 'What's your favourite book at the moment?' and students can respond with sticky notes.A sign out the front of the Geodesic Dome that reads 'Geodesic Dome Project', and has the following text:
This geodesic dome was built over the last 12 months in the Library Makerspace through a series of community cardboard sculpting sessions. It’s an experimental space that you can use for reading and study, tucked away from bright lights and open spaces. Inside the dome will be a monthly question that you can respond to on sticky notes, and read responses from others up on the walls. Get involved and check back for updates.

It’s built from locally sourced sustainable materials, including cardboard from new technology installs on campus and corflute from local election signage. There are 200+ hand cut pieces which are joined with zipties and eyelets. The dome was 3D modelled in Rhino 3D software, and converted to a paper template in Pepakura papercraft software. Each piece was printed on paper and joined together to make the templates that were cut from cardboard.

The dome was built in the Library Makerspace, a space open to all students and staff for hands-on projects. Drop in between 9AM - 4PM on weekdays to have a go at 3D printing, electronics, crafting and more. Plus, come along to a range of workshops on 3D printing, Arduino, 3D modelling and more.

Quick morning feature before work. Got Natas spins into the game. Uses a single point curve for the grind spline and bypasses grind movement logic but uses the balance logic so it came together pretty quickly. Still need to add appropriate trick naming and scoring for it.

Still one of my favorite sequences in the game.
