@zstg I was looking into how to properly set vim up to replicate an IDE and came across lots of Reddit posts about … eMacs lol. I might think about it, but honestly I like how light weight vim is (though I might be switching to neovim) and that I can run it in a terminal, which works quite well with DWM and st. I’m trying to move to terminal tools and applications as much as possible—cos, why install massive heavy GUI programs when something lightweight and open source works lol.

@zstg probably never cos I value what remains of my finger and wrist dexterity lol.

@mrmasterkeyboard I had neovim suggested to be by someone else too, so I might give it a shot. It’s apparently easier to use plugins with neovim (so I was told, I’ve never used it so not sure).

Just fired up a 15-year-old laptop with #ArchLinux installed that I repurposed for a Discord bot dev machine ! 🌟 and I am shocked at how capable it is! Using #Vim for Python development and everything feels so light and snappy. 🐍💻 Who knew old tech could be this useful? Looking to recapture the magic of traditional pen and paper, I am moving from FoundryVTT to Roll20 for my #dnd5e and #PF2e games. Roll20 delivers a digital game table that echoes the classic feel of hand-drawn maps and in-person sessions. Whilst FoundryVTT is a state-of-the-art digital tabletop with a whole host of awesome features, it does not manage to fully replicate that old‐school touch.
