The @Cockpit team has tried sourcery.ai and GitHub #Copilot automatic #PR #reviews for four weeks. I wrote down our conclusions.

TL/DR: a lot of noise, a lot of bad advice, and not enough signal, so we switched it off again.

I hope other teams/developers have more success with that -- it can't possibly be that bad or useless for everyone, otherwise it wouldn't/shouldn't be a thing any more?

Dass Microsoft Verträge mit einigen Rechenzentren gekündigt hat, liegt laut The Register wahrscheinlich leider nicht daran, dass der »KI«-Hype vorbei ist.

Vielmehr können diese Rechenzentren nicht die enorme Strom- und Kühlleistung bereitstellen, die für die neuste nVidia-Hardware (NVL72) gebraucht wird. Die verbrauchen 120kW Strom pro Rack (Serverschrank) und brauchen Flüssigkühlung. Die nächste Generation soll 600kW verbrauchen:

Auch in der vergangen Nacht gab es stellenweise wieder leichten #Frost. Vor allem in den zentralen und östlichen Mittelgebirgstälern zeigte das Thermometer örtlich Tiefstwerte bis - 3 Grad an. Im Süden verhinderten dichte Wolkenfelder eine stärkere Abkühlung, sodass es dort meist frostfrei blieb. /V
