In this video, I play Charlie Parker's jazz standard "Scrapple from the Apple" on my #ibanez Little George Benson signature hollow body guitar using my BOSS RC-10R. I first record the chord progression I then play the theme and improvise over the chords.

I still have a long way to go for becoming a decent guitarist but I hope you enjoy this video!

In 1967, 56 years ago passed away the great #billystrayhorn author of #taketheatrain commissioned by #dukeellington. The song's title comes from Ellington directions for Strayhorn to get to his house by subway. The directions began with the words "Take the A Train", referring to the then-new A subway service that runs through New York City.

Today I went to the end of the year #essay. I played two standards #AutumnLeaves and #afternooninparis.
Using a looper+drum machine I record the chords progression and then the theme and improvisation.
Despite some errors caused by the emotion of being on stage I think it's not so bad for a 50 yo that started his path just 3 years ago.

Last week I got a BOSS RC-10R. It took me a while to get used to the looper and the drum machine sync but now I'm really enjoying the new toy.
This is my blue bossa version where I first record the chords and then I play melody and a little improvisation on top of them.
