Absolutely mind blown today. Found a website that summarizes terms of service for lots of services out there such as Facebook, Reddit, Amazon and others; ranking them from grade A, very good, to grade E, awful. Take a look and you might be shocked by some of the stuff we all miss because we don't read TOS. Needless to say, this is going in my important sites list. tosdr.org. Additionally, you can follow @ToSDR which is the official account for the site.

I'm glad someone else is finally talking about this. Tech that can't be bootstrapped means the end of innovation.

"Securities and Exchange Commission chair Gary Gensler has warned that having a small number of AI models and actors at the foundation of the AI ecosystem poses systemic risks to the financial order, in which the effects of a single failure could be distributed much more widely. "

I had successful surgery last September due to severe . As the physical symptoms got worse over a 7-year-period (no pun intended, but it really did feel like that) so did my swings.

If I had known about the hormonal connection, I would have gotten treatment much sooner.

Did you know you can still experience even in your 40s and 50s?

Awareness saves lives.

That's why I'm walking a 5K for iapmd.org/ today. I wish I had found them sooner!

@pixelpusher220 @TheConversationUS

I'm concerned you're right. We in middle class America are simply not prepared for large systems (banks, insurance companies) to fail.

But that only makes failure more likely in the long run.

@deadmessenger It took a lot more than a weekend... about three years of road trips.

Left me in the inconvenient position of having had experiences which made it impossible or at the very least highly irrational for me to doubt, but also having a lot of anger and frustration at the Higher Power in charge.

I agree that optimism is a blessing, and power to you if you can muster it.

Bill Willingham, creator of beloved comic series "Fables," has released the franchise into the public domain, citing a breakdown in his relationship with DC Comics. Here's the full statement that he posted on his Substack, in which he said of DC: " I gave them years to do the right thing. I tried to reason with them, but you can’t reason with the unreasonable."
