The Microsoft SideWinder Game Pad 1.0 released in 1996 designed for Windows 95 gaming (not DOS).
Most PCs of this era only had one gameport for controller devices, so it features a pass through port to connect additional players.
It's surprisingly comfortable considering its age too.
This is mine all cleaned up and ready for action.

New video! Today I’m taking at Intel’s i487 SX. Released in 1991, it was marketed as a “math co-processor” to pair up with the 486 SX. But the i487 is not what it appears, and Intel’s somewhat disingenuous marketing led to a lot of confusion surrounding it.

New video! Today I repair and test a budget model FIC 486-VC-HD motherboard. This board refused to boot due to a dead RTC module, but also had terrible memory latency. Join me today as I get this board repaired and dig into a surprising caching problem that impacts many 486 boards from the early 90s.

Always such a satisfying feeling to desolder a dead DS1287 RTC, solder a socket and install a new module. Another 486 board lives on 😁👍
The old module is from 1992, the new 30 years later in 2022!

Castlevania IV wowed me with its beautiful graphics, haunting music, and stage presentation. This is a true classic. Released for the SNES in North America on December 1991. You play as Simon Belmont as you fight through Dracula’s Castle using the whip that can attack in 8 directions.
