One of the most stupid hallucinations yet that I got from a AI:

Is there a module for the Apache web server providing the AWS S3 protocol. Normal web search had nothing. One of Duckduckgo's hallucinators sometimes have useful hints. But this time:

lots of bla bla
sudo a2enmod s3
lots of bla bla

Which is nonsense. Asked for the source code, it happily provided:

which, unsurprisingly, does not exist.🤣 🤦‍♀️

Diese Woche wurde ich von einer ungewöhnlichen Welle an Anfragen an meinen Server überrascht. Erst dachte ich, dass ich irgendetwas falsch konfiguriert haben könnte, aber nach einem Gespräch mit dem Support von Uberspace war klar, dass mein WordPress Multisite-Setup mit dieser Seite Gefährliches Halbwissen und Um' Pudding bombardiert und somit überlastet wird. Als einfacher User eines Shared Hosting Dienstes kann man wenig dagegen tun, außer zu versuchen herauszufinden, was hier passiert und zugucken, wie die Seite auseinandergenommen wird. Witzigerweise musste ich dabei an ein Buch denken, welches ich 2017 gelesen habe.

ich bin mit meinen #Joomla #Webseiten inzwischen erfolgreich zu #Netcup umgezogen. Beim alten #Hoster hatte ich das #Backupverzeichnis für die #Akeeba #Backups eine Verzeichnisebene höher als das Joomla-Dokumentenroot angegeben. Das geht bei Netcup (bslang) nicht. Ich komme, egal ob ich den absoluten Pfad manuell eingebe, oder den Directory Browser hinter dem Eingabfeld nutze, nicht in eine höhere Verzeichnisebene als das root-Verzeichnis von Joomla.

Wenn ich im Directory Browser "Up one level" klicke, kommt

The specified directory doesn't exist!".

Wenn ich den Pfad manuell eintrage und ein Backup starte

The automatic backup can not be started because your output directory is not writable.

Die Backups innerhalb der Joomla Installation anzulegen, ist ja aber aus mehreren Gründen käse:

1. sind die Backups bei einer Kompromittierung von Joomla ebenfalls betroffen

2. wächst die Backupgröße exponentiell, da ja mit dem Dateibackup immer auch die vorhandenen Backups ins Backup gepackt werden

(Wie) kann ich erreichen, dass ich wieder ein Backupverzeichnis oberhalb des Dokumentenroot von Joomla angeben kann?
