still being young and wild, I experiment with new things.
here I'll try to use the reverse polarity protection diodes marked in green in my next #eurorack project to serve a second purpose as mechanical guides for the power connector.
if it works out well, this can almost be reused like a macro in future eurorack designs.
A few years back I did some reverse engineering on the original Alesis MIDIVerb. I've released the design materials and source code that came out of that effort here: https://github.com/emeb/MIDIVerb_RE
hey @adafruit I am gonna buy this. but I am gonna write them datasheet myself.

yeah right, digikey. but my NAS won't fit in your textbox...

Feel free to get in touch with my Bruckner Remix. 2 videos - a clip and a summary. enjoy! #video #antonbruckner #bruckner https://www.base.at/dorninger/video-bruckner-remixed-in-space
I love those hacks, just use the PCB material, it's there, it's not just for electronics. I had done this often, even as a child I had developed film roll negatives on copper of PCBs.
On a board I just design, I intend to use two large reverse polarity protection diodes as mechanical guides for an IDC connector that the user puts on my #eurorack board.

And of course those Nixie tube numbers are screaming to be a clock. The board is a metro esp32-s3 and I’m using the world time API to easily get the time
@LaF0rge obviously plug in that heart shaped USB-stick first, that keeps the screensaver from kicking in...
next interesting product from Raspberry Pi: RM2
a standalone BT/WiFi radio - seems they were listening to their customers.

I am very much honored that the NSA selector - my very first eurorack module - is now available through modularaddict!
oh, I made quite some news in china. not even only AI generated. no orders yet though.

✤ https://github.com/wenzellabs/the_NSA_selector

first learning about UAC2 (USB audio class 2.0) is that it screams for UAC3 (in 7.1).
