Wikimedia UK has been supporting the heritage sector to share their knowledge for many years, so the news of redundancies at English Heritage is a blow. Everyone loses from this loss of knowledge and expertise; not just visitors — including school groups — but also Wikipedia, which relies on high quality, independent sources.

Every month we will be showcasing different mini wiki tasks you can get involved in, so you can dip in whenever you have time.
