• Games laced with #malware (like "#Kernel-Level #AntiCheat" and #AlwaysOnlineDRM) costing € 75-90+ for a worse experience than most #AA and #Indie titles (espechally when adjusted for the price!) are just not satisfying.

Even A/A+/B/C-Titles feel way better and I'm not even looking at rare examples like #Minecraft that get continous post-launch updates & free content expansions for over 15 years now…

I spent several hours today researching and comparing and testing different anti-aliasing modes in No Man's Sky with this new RTX 5080 GPU.

I have been using TAA for years in NMS and am quite familiar with DLSS, having read about it over the years. But, today I discovered DLAA (Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing) and that NMS supports it.

And it's just awesome!

Well that's certainly better than the #AA so far. She'll be on the phone to them again today, as their answer so to her questions were not adequate considering her situation.

We have decided that we will be terminating our membership of the #AA, as my wife has had a horrible evening and their support has been what I can only describe as substandard to say the least.

Hooray, MrsSP is finally home nearly 5 hours after calling the #AA

Please note that a typical #AA #alkaline #battery only provides a mere ~0.1% of your daily energy intake needs and is therefore nutritionally ineffective!
