Was mir im #AWL des #ratwitten missfällt: angeblich ist das ein Wirtschaftsausschuss, aber hier fragen viele nach ihrer persönlichen Situation: Wann kriege ich Glasfaser in Heven? Ich wohne in einem grauen Fleck, wann kriege ich Kabel? Ich fahre Diesel, wäre ein E-Auto für mich günstiger? Nicht nur teilweise mit wenig Sachverstand, sondern auch zuerst auf den eigenen Vorteil bedacht. Da gibt es auch massive Unterschiede zwischen den Parteien. Rate mal, welche das Know-how für E-mobilität hat

Wie auch schon in der letzten Sitzungsperiode wird der Vorsitzende vom Bürgermeister persönlich begleitet. Neu ist, das der Vorsitzende in schwarzem Zwirn kommt, und der Bürgermeister im schwarzen T-Shirt. Auch so kann man eine Ansage machen.

So the other day I posted about the #awl #fundraiser happening right here in #Adelaide where some (incredibly) generous people were doubling donations for the day. Turns out that out of a $350,000 target they managed to raise a total of $876,707.

To quantify that in simple terms, a single foster care pack for a kitten runs up about $504 total so that is over 1,700 spicy kittens (or puppies!) that can be placed in foster care to help socialise them, care for them, and get them ready for their forever homes.

They do amazing work, and rely heavily on donations to keep going. You can punch and enlarge holes with the awl on your #victorinox and then use the"#parcelHook" to sew with 550 #paracord. Instead of pushing the cordage through (as with normal #awl sewing), you'll pull the cordage through with the hook, making a loop, push the other side through the loop, tighten-down, and repeat until giant 550 paracord stitches are in place.
