Applications without a dark mode theme have a #accessibilty issue.

My #migraines are sensitive to light, so I need to reduce the brightness of everything during a migraine. There are many apps which become unusable (literally physically painful to use) because they don't have a dark mode (looking at you native mobile #PixelFed app).

This journal article explores UDL strategies in a higher education learning environment by interviewing faculty members. The findings suggest that it is very important for faculty and instructional designers to cultivate partnerships and standardize UDL implementation across courses. Faculty members also expressed being resistant to UDL strategies because of limited, time, and institutional priorities, and reliance on an accommodations-based model. #accessibilty eric.ed.gov/?id=EJ1211170
