Enthused by the RISC OS meeting, I wondered whether I could resurrect one of the original StrongARM RiscPC's used to port Slackware to ARM 22 years ago. After inspection, I'm not holding out any hope.

I think im done tinkering with the screenshot convertor side of my site, there is over 103,000 assorted screenshots of games, from about 10 different #retro systems, that can be converted to a 4k image, SVG vector or a 3d #openscad model.

So my RiscPC has packed up again. Not anything major this time thankfully, but for whatever reason my boot SD has corrupted and now the built-in IDE isn't seeing any SD or CF card. I think the best course of action is to get one of those new ZIDEFS podules as that is verified to work with those CF adapters... But that's gonna be part of a larger re-rebuild I want to do - so expect a "Part 2" to that video I did eventually! 😅
For now, the Acorn is gonna sit in a sad state waiting for me to afford to fix it... :blobfoxcry2:

@Dendrobatus_Azureus Fully agree. While working in tech support at #AcornComputers back in the 90s, I had to reply to a customer who'd complained about their 420MB HDD being undersize for the same reason.
